This match was actually huge for 2020. It allowed Braun to be available to fill Roman's slot for Mania - an unremarkable reign for the first half, but the program with Wyatt led to some good matches and to Bliss' renaissance. Though Zayn was off TV for a while, his return elevated the IC title and led to his current and best run as an annoying heel. Finally, Nakamura and Cesaro had an underutilised tag team championship reign, but are both positioned as strong upper card acts, with Shinsuke being cheated out of a Heavyweight Championship opportunity, and Cesaro with his first proper push in a long while.
